Spinnakers releases Dunkelweizen

This is a new release, a dunkelweizen. This dark wheat beer uses an heirloom variety of Red Fife Wheat. Remember the Red Fife Hefeweizen? This looks to be the dunkel/dark version. It appears to be a bottle release and should be in stores this week. Also of note this week is Fridays cask, which is an IPA with New Zealand Ella hops.  Press release to follow:

The second in our ‘Red Fife Series’ this light bodied, unfiltered, dark wheat ale has distinctly Canadian heirloom Red Fife Wheat, roasted malt flavours balanced with a typical Bavarian light hop profile and hints of spice and fruit emanating from the classic Bavarian weizen yeast strain.

We will be releasing this beer to local liquor stores this week, and will be available to all other outlets the following week.
