From my pal Jer, who arranged all this;
How far would you go to support individuals in your community at a time when they need it most?
My answer is 200 km.
I’m a rider with the Cycle of Life Tour and am raising funds for hospice care.
On June 19th I will be hosting a special event at Garricks Head Pub and have teamed up with Lighthouse Brewing Company to create a special onetime cask of beer.
Out To Pasture Pils (Black Pilsner infused with Chamomile) will be featured that night with 100% of all proceeds going towards my end goal of raising funds to support hospice care.
There will also be a silent auction with many great items to bid on, all benefiting this under recognized service that relies largely on funding by community donors and fundraising events.
Come join me for a pint before it’s gone (there’s a ton of other tasty beer on taps) and bid on some amazing items.
If you can’t make it and want to pledge my ride you can do so here -> http://victoriahospice.kintera.org/cycleoflife/whiskyrider
